EUREKA, Calif. — The Sequoia Park Zoo will celebrate World Otter Day on Sunday, May 24, with activities focused on otters, conservation and the environment.
The zoo announced the event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include keeper talks, educational exhibits, conservation stations, watershed games and other activities.
Organizers said the event will highlight the role otters play in the environment and ways the public can help protect them.
Activities are included with general admission or membership.
